Flight Preparation After you decide which loveable baby you want, we will choose the best
flight date and I will proceed to get the best flight booked. Your new puppy will make a visit to our veterinarian at Town
& Country Vet Clinic for a complete health check and Health Certificate. Your puppy’s crate will then be purchased
and prepared for the big day.
To the Plane On the day of shipping we arrive at the airport
2 hours prior to departure, check the puppy in and pay for the flight. I'll give you a call and confirm the
flight at this time. I do ask that, with time permitting, please give me a call and let me know you have received your new
baby; I like to know that our puppies arrive safe! We are concerned about our puppies and your opinion of them as
well.
On the Plane The puppies are placed in the cargo section of the plane which is pressurized
and temperature controlled, and they sleep practically the entire way. If 2 puppies are purchased, they can fly together
and for the same airfare price. With Delta Airlines, which I usually use, puppies can only be flown when temperatures
are no lower than 20 degrees and no higher than 85 degrees. However, if the weather doesn’t cooperate
we can use Continental Airlines, which is completely temperature controlled. There is no need to worry about your new family
member; puppies are a big business to the airlines these days and are well taken care of. I have never had a single problem
with my puppies arriving safely.
Back on the Ground! When your puppy arrives all you need
is your flight number and a photo I.D, and you're all set for your forever friend. It’s such an exciting adventure
to have your puppy shipped to you; you're going to enjoy it!!
